Life Coaching at CALSMA involves using the principles and tenets of taekwondo (courtesy, integrity, self-control, perseverance and courage) to guide our students to achieve personal and character development goals, improve their mental well-being, and develop positive habits and attitudes especially outside of the dojang.

Life Coaching is typically held once every two months. When scheduled on a Friday, the following session times apply:
5:30 PM โ 6:10 PM: 8 years old & below
6:10 PM โ 6:50 PM: 9โ11 years old
6:50 PM โ 7:30 PM: 12 years old & above
Please note that some Life Coaching lessons are conducted throughout the week during regular Taekwondo classes instead of on a Friday. These sessions are incorporated into students’ normal training schedule. Please watch for announcements regarding the format and schedule of each Life Coaching session.
Students who attend at least one class during Life Coaching Week or a ‘scheduled Friday’, will receive their White Tip Tape, which is one of the required prerequisites in order to qualify to test for the next belt level.
